Financial market
A financial market is a market in which people trade financial securities, commodities, and other fungible items of value at low transaction costs and at prices that reflect supply and demand. Securities include stocks and bonds, and commodities include precious metals or agricultural products.
In economics, typically, the term market means the aggregate of possible buyers and sellers of a certain good or service and the transactions between them.
The term "market" is sometimes used for what are more strictly exchanges, organizations that facilitate the trade in financial securities, e.g., a stock exchange or commodity exchange. This may be a physical location (like the NYSE, BSE, NSE) or an electronic system (like NASDAQ). Much trading of stocks takes place on an exchange; still, corporate actions (merger, spinoff) are outside an exchange, while any two companies or people, for whatever reason, may agree to sell stock from the one to the other without using an exchange.
Trading of currencies and bonds is largely on a bilateral basis, although some bonds trade on a stock exchange, and people are building electronic systems for these as well, similar to stock exchanges.
Market (place)
A market, is actual and potential customers of goods and services and marketplace, is regular gathering of people for the purchase and sale of provisions, livestock, and other goods. A place where buying and selling occurs. In different parts of the world they may be referred to as a souk (from the Arabic), bazaar (from the Persian), a fixed mercado (Spanish) or itinerant tianguis (Mexico), or palengke (Philippines). Some markets operate on most days; others may be held weekly, or on less frequent specified days.
History
Markets existed in ancient times — in ancient Greece, the agora, and in ancient Rome, the forum.
The Grand Bazaar in Istanbul is often cited as the world's oldest still-operating market; its construction began in 1455. In the 15th century the Mexica (Aztec) market of Tlatelolco was the largest in all the Americas.

Plot
Bok-nyeo, a mentally handicapped woman, supports her lazy husband by selling apples at the public marketplace. When her husband abandons her for another woman, another man who sympathizes with Bok-nyeo, kills him.

Indian (1996 film)
Indian is a 1996 Indian Tamil vigilante film directed by Shankar and produced by A. M. Rathnam. The film stars Kamal Haasan in dual roles with Manisha Koirala, Urmila Matondkar, Sukanya and Goundamani appearing in other pivotal roles. The film's score and soundtrack are composed by A. R. Rahman, while cinematography was handled by Jeeva.
The film focuses on an ex-freedom fighter turned vigilante bent on rooting out corruption and his son, who is at the other end of the spectrum by facilitating corrupt practices leading to unfortunate events.
The film opened to positive reviews from critics on the way to becoming a commercial blockbuster in the Tamil film industry. Indian was selected by India as its entry for the Best Foreign Language Film for the Academy Awards in 1996, but was not nominated. The film also went on to win three National Film Awards including that of Best Actor for Kamal Haasan's portrayal, while his performance also saw him win at the Filmfare Awards and the Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. The film was dubbed and released in Hindi as Hindustani with a few scenes reshot and also in Telugu as Bharatheeyudu. It was also the highest grossing Tamil film upon its release, until surpassed by Padayappa, three years later.
Sturm und Drang (band)
Sturm und Drang is a Finland-Swedish heavy metal/hard rock band from Vaasa, Finland formed in 2004. The band currently consists of lead singer/guitarist André Linman, guitarist Jani Kuoppamaa, keyboardist Jesper Welroos, bassist/backing vocalist Joel Wendlin and drummer/backing vocalist Calle Fahllund, following the departures of bassist Henrik Kurkiala and guitarist Alexander Ivars. The band started off as schoolmates covering bands such as Judas Priest and gradually started writing their own material. They were discovered in 2005 by record label HMC. Their debut album "Learning to Rock" was released in 2007 and eventually went platinum in Finland. Their second album "Rock 'n Roll Children" was released in 2008 and went gold within less than a week. The band is known for songs like "Rising Son", "Indian" and "A Million Nights". As of 2010 the band has sold over 100,000 records and is working on their upcoming album.
